Best Courses in Des Moines

Looking for a place to take a client out and hit some balls?  Well, look no further!

Top Recommendation – Otter Creek

While technically in Ankeny, I think we can all agree that this course belongs to Des Moines – and for good reason.  Otter Creek is one of Des Moines’ gems for that combo of relaxation and business that can only be found on the links.  Beyond its terrific course, Otter Creek also is home to the Tin Cup, a lovely little bar, and can house you and your clients in their meeting rooms.

Des Moines Golf and Country Club

A terrific course, Des Moines Golf and Country Club offers everything you could want from a city Country Club, but for a steep price and a bit too exclusive of membership for my liking.  The courses (North and South), both offer a unique experience for yourself and your party.DSM South

Woodland Hills

An open and spacious course, Woodland Hills is better suited for those who have a weaker golf game and are more unsure of themselves on the course.  Please avoid going to expensive and luxurious courses if you lack the ability to play on them – it looks bad both on yourself and your company.
